Black Sweet Pongal
🍚 Quick & Easy Black Kavuni Sweet Pongal (2 Servings)

Black kavuni rice – ÂĽ cupÂ
Jaggery (powdered) – ⅓ cup
Water – 1½ cups (for cooking rice)
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Cashews or almonds – 1 tbsp (optional)
Salt – a tiny pinch
Cooking instructions:
Cook the rice:
 After soaking, Rinse and cook the rice in pressure cooker with 1½ cups of water for 5–6 whistles (until soft).
Once rice is cooked, mix in â…“ cup powdered jaggery directly.
Simmer on low for 3–4 minutes, stirring until it blends.
after the blends , add cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
Heat ghee in a small pan, roast cashews and mix in.
