Little Millet Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • Little Millet Flour - 3 tbsp 
  • Water - 4 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Corn - 1/4 cup boiled
  • Mixed color Bell Peppers chopped - 3 tbsp
  • Carrots & Beans finely chopped - 5 tbsp
  • Coriander finely chopped - for garnishing
  • Butter - 3 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp (freshly crushed)
  • Black pepper - 1 1/2 tsp (freshly crushed)
  • Salt - as required

Cooking Instructions for Little Millet Soup:

1. Prepare Millet Flour Base: Mix the little millet flour with 1 cup of water, ensuring it's lump-free.

2. Cook Vegetables: Heat butter in a pot. Add chopped carrots, beans, bell peppers, and corn. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the remaining 3 cups of water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Add Millet Mixture: Pour the millet mixture into the pot, stirring continuously.

4. Season & Garnish: Crush & add cumin seeds, black pepper. Add sugar, adjust salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
