Suggested Recipe - Maapillai Samba Payasam (Phirni)
- Soak 1 cup maapillai samba rice for at least 4 hours
- In a pressure cooker, cook the rice with 2 cups milk and 2 cups water for 4 whistles
- Add Jaggery powder and boil for few mins
- Add cardamom and cashews
- Serve it hot or cold
